On the homtini pass...

We slept the night with Greg on his farm, and headed north again.

This evening we're sleeping at the cape st Francis resort. We had a good swim in the resort pool this afternoon - but majorly disappointed because free all the time in knysna over the last few weeks, replacing the fridge and putting up solar panels ... The batteries still only last for 16 hours (that is if we leave in the morning the inverter and fridge alarms wake us up at around 3am in the morning! Very irritating.

The 3-way fancy fridge by domestic (which is mean to work on gas / 12v & 220v only works on 12v, the generator which is meant to charge the batteries doesn't at all... & driving with the special dead bolt which is meant to charge from the alternator also doesn't work.

So we're hoping that the cape town wind which is blowing bad weather up this coastline blows itself out, and that we can continue to find decent campsites with electricity - especially as we get closer to the christmas week!

BUT apart from the electrical issues that we have purchased from Travelstar, we're enjoying being in our holiday house on wheels, and looking forward to tomorrow, the next days and weeks.
